About

You’ve found Steven Jones, an enthusiastic User Experience Designer and graduate in Multimedia Technology BSc(hons) with a 2:1 degree classification. I love all things web and apps, from creating wireframes and visuals, to the nitty-gritty development.

User Centric Design

Researching consumer needs through user testing, data analysis and customer feedback, to discover opportunities to aid business goals. Creating hypothesis within a small team to agree a clear goal to work towards and validating such statements have been well practiced.

Digital Diversity

An appreciation of multiple digital disciplines have been learnt and practiced to provide all the building blocks required to create a great digital product. My passion is to solve the users problems with a technically viable solution to deliver value early.

Leadership

Becoming a Senior, has allowed me to lead by example, both within the design team and each department we collaborate. I’ve enjoyed mentoring colleagues to share knowledge and give constructive feedback to progress their career, which I find highly rewarding.

Communication

I’ve led communication on many projects, held meetings with key stakeholders including Senior Executives, positively challenged requirements and briefed colleagues on upcoming work. A personable approach is always shown regardless of experience or seniority.

Education

On completion of my university course, I achieved a 2:1 degree classification in Multimedia Technology BSc(hons). University was an exciting learning experience, which has shaped my future, guiding me into the web creative industry.

Valuable skills were learnt and implemented in a creative environment, lead by industry specialists, who would eventually hone my skills into what they are today. I found an eagerness for research, communicated well while collaborating on projects with fellow students and gained confidence in presenting in front of students and lectures.
